Greenway Restaurant included in Michelin Guide 2008 Posted on 22/03/2008
The Greenway was delighted to receive confirmation of the restaurants inclusion into the 2008 Michelin Guide. Head Chef Luke Richards said ''I am very happy that we have been recognised for achieving the standards required for inclusion into the guide. For me this is a positive step towards achieving our overall goals for 2008 and 2009. The team and I are consantly striving to attain the highest of standards. Ultimately it is our guests we cook for but as long as we are achiving this sort of recognition we know we are on the right track.''
Michael Obray, General Manager said ''Awards and accolades are a welcome barometer against which we can judge our standards and as such are positive goals to aim for.''
Michael praised Luke and his team and said the this achievement was in line with the greater goals of the hotel. Michael said that the team's ambition was to elevate The Greenway to one of the finest hotels in The Cotswolds and to make it a special destination where guest could expect the highest of standards.
