Ryan is a Winner!
At the recent CSI Gloucestershire Chefs Competition Ryan Mills, Junior Sous Chef from The Greenway Hotel, excelled by securing first place in the over 23’s age group at this prestigious and tightly contested event.
Ryan impressed the judges with his artistic flair backed up by sound technical skills and had to fight off some serious competition from other contestants. The judges were looking for consistency, strong technical skills and imagination in creating a full three course meal. One judge commented that it was a close battle all the way to the end however it was Ryan’s dessert, a mouth-watering hot chocolate fondant that clinched the deal!
An ecstatic Ryan said he was proud to be able to win this award on behalf of The Greenway and was looking forward once more to putting his exceptional skills into practice for guests and diners at The Greenway. Luke Richards, head chef said he was proud of this achievement and it was a testament to the commitment and dedication of the entire team at The Greenway.
